I bought one about 2 months ago and it is a chore getting her out of the tank to handle her. She runs around the tank trying to get away and snaps and jumps to bite me. Once I get her out she is constantly trying to get out of my hand. How do I calm her down and keep her from trying to bite? I want her to be calm lol. She has already broke skin once. Is it too late to tame her?

1) They love the heat coming from your hand
2) They are scared [don't worry, they'll learn to trust you in due time]
3) If this happens in the cage as well and they aren’t alert and awake like they should be, be sure to pick up a handlers book and check the signs of any illnesses

They love it when you gently rub their chin. You can also gently rub the top of the head and pet their tail, though make sure you aren’t pulling the tail as you do so.

Hey does it hurt when it jams into you with its spikes, and also im getting a bearded dragon and im wondering would it be better to get one or two because i want to get a male and a female so they can make eggs. If i get two ( which i will only do if you tell me its good advice ) should i put them in different cages, will they get along or will they fight? PLEASE COMMENT I NEED TO KNOW.
